I Was Checking out the Hotels in York for My Stay
I was looking online at the different hotels in York that are available. I had to go to Great Britain on business. It would be my first time there. In fact, I’ve never been out of the US. I’ve been wanting to see England since I was a child. I know it was just a business trip but I was going to get some sightseeing in while I was there. I was able to get two extra days out of my boss. I would have two full days to explore on my own. The neat thing is that the company I was going to go and demonstrate a high end electronics component to also wanted to show me around. I was lucky. Business trips like this aren’t made much anymore. However, I am the engineer that designed the component and they wanted me to talk to their engineers. Fortunately for me, it would be easy to win over fellow engineers to my design. That meant the business side of the trip would be quick.
